    Regional Growth Fund

    Regenerate Pennine Lancashire has brought £7.5m into Lancashire after their bid for the Regional Growth Fund (RGF) was successful, it was announced today.

    The funding is set to:

    • Create or safeguard 3792 direct jobs,
    • Create or safeguard 2000 indirect jobs
    • Lever in £31.4m private sector investment.

    We are currently developing the delivery method, the Accelerating Business Growth in Lancashire scheme, for a 2012 launch. It aims to meet the needs of local advanced manufacturing SMEs.

Regenerate for Business

Regenerate Pennine Lancashire is an economic development company designed to help increase prosperity and life choices for people living and working in Pennine Lancashire (East Lancashire) and to attract in others to work, live or visit. Regenerate is owned by the six Pennine Lancashire local authorities: Lancashire County Council and the borough councils of Blackburn with Darwen, Burnley, Hyndburn, Pendle and Rossendale.
Regenerate Pennine Lancashire can assist with all aspects of business support such as accessing local grants, business start-up support, manufacturing advice, technology and innovation support, environmental advice and assistance to locate suitable development land or commercial property.
