Pendle Start-up Grant Support

Amount: Grant assistance of up to 50% of the eligible costs, subject to a minimum award of £500 and a maximum of £2,000. Projects likely to qualify for assistance, will typically involve investment in a product or service that helps the business with start-up costs. Examples include (not inclusive): Purchase of equipment essential in operating the business activity - e.g. technical machinery, catering and construction equipment or ladders, etc.Purchase of computer hardware and specialised software applications but there must be a clear requirement and case for purchasing a laptop. Development of websites with full electronic trading capability - i.e. payment and billing online. Marketing and promotional materials; Training directly linked to the business activity. Ineligible projects could include any items required through Hire Purchase or Lease arrangements, premises improvement or purchase of premises, staff salary costs, business rates bills, rent to landlord and vehicles.
