CSEP provides capital grants for renewable energy technologies to not-for-profit community-based organisations in England.

Eligible applicants include:

• Community groups governed by a written constitution (a separate legal entity)
• Parish Councils and church/faith groups
• Registered Charities and Trusts
• Community interest companies or Social Enterprises

The technologies covered by the grant include solar thermal panels, heat pumps, wood/biomass boilers and stoves. The grant will also cover energy efficiency measures like cavity wall, loft insulation, heating and lighting controls.  Where these are not already installed, applicants applying for renewable energy technologies will be required to install all appropriate energy efficiency measures as part of the same project.

This is the final call for applications, covering heat generating technologies and energy efficiency measures only.  Deadline for the receipt of completed applications will be 5pm Friday 29 February 2012.
