Would you like to promote training to your team, but feel constrained by time or having the right skills?

Would your company benefit from having an employee with the skills to advise colleagues in training, funding and career progression?

The Workplace Learning Advocates Initiative can train an employee to be able to fulfill this task. It’s a fully funded service too.

The scheme can:

• Interview colleagues and advise on their individual learning needs

• Identify free and subsidised training opportunities for your company

• Promote a learning culture within the workplace, at all levels

• Help to remove traditional barriers to learning benefits

• Improve performance through better trained staff

• Help your company retain staff through an improved learning culture

• Give you access to a wider network of contacts

• Keep employers up to date with training and funding opportunities

• Help reduce the workload on the HR department or manager

To train as a Workplace Learning Advocate employees attend a 2 day accredited Information & Advice course.

The next Learning Advocates courses will be held on:

Thursday 23rd February & Thursday 1st March at The Tickled Trout Hotel, Preston

All tuition fees/course materials/enrolment fees FREE to non-unionised companies. Disability/interpretation support provided. Pre-booking essential.
