Welcome to the first blog post of Regenerate’s new website. I thought I would use this opportunity to give you a tour of the site and what it can offer to Lancashire businesses. Our website aims to help new businesses to start, existing businesses to grow through adopting new technologies and being more innovative and to help companies to locate to Lancashire. It is just one part of our strategy to create over 500 new businesses and 1000 jobs in East Lancashire within the year, as well as to offer innovation and technology support to businesses across Lancashire.

The website will inform potential clients of what we can provide for them, but we also hope that visitors will find many reasons to return to its pages. The website will include many regularly updated sections with features that will help local businesses, including:

- A searchable business support directory to help businesses recognise what help is available to them, including loans, grants and other support.

- A searchable Land and Property database to help small to medium enterprises and developers find the perfect Pennine Lancashire location for their business.

- A business support library of downloadable information, such as a start-up guide and our monthly Innovate newsletter.

- A calendar of useful upcoming events in the area, such as seminars, workshops and networking opportunities.
